Couples Therapy
What to Expect in Couples Therapy
Relationships are beautiful—and sometimes, incredibly complex. Whether you're navigating conflict, communication breakdowns, trust issues, life transitions, or simply feeling disconnected, couples therapy can be a safe space to reconnect and grow together or decide to end things.
Couples therapy is designed to help partners strengthen their bond, gain clarity, and work through challenges with the support of a neutral, compassionate therapist. It’s not about deciding who’s right or wrong—it’s about understanding each other more deeply and learning new ways to communicate, repair, and rebuild.
In session, we’ll explore each partner’s perspectives, traumas, emotional needs, and relationship patterns. We may work on resolving past hurts, identifying triggers, setting healthy boundaries, and practicing new tools for emotional regulation and connection. Whether you’re dating, engaged, married, or co-parenting, couples therapy can help you feel seen, heard, and supported as you build a stronger foundation—together.
You don’t have to wait until things feel unmanageable. Every relationship deserves the time and care to grow. If you’re ready to do the work, I am here to guide you every step of the way.
